622 Hai Duong workers registered for the EPS Program to work in Korea

In the first phase of 2025, 622 Hai Duong workers registered to take the EPS Program exam in the manufacturing industry.

Hai Duong has a total of 622 workers registered to take the Korean language test under the EPS Program, phase 1/2025. If they pass both rounds (Korean language proficiency test, skills test and competency assessment), they will be qualified to go to Korea to work.

After 3 days (March 31 - April 2) of reception, Hai Duong Employment Service - Vocational Education Center (Department of Home Affairs) received 622 applications for the Korean language test under the Korean Government's Foreign Labor Permit Program (EPS Program).

Most Hai Duong workers registered to take the exam in the manufacturing industry, including assembly, measurement and connection jobs.

Workers registering for the EPS program will have to participate in 2 rounds of exams, including: Round 1, Korean proficiency test (EPS - TOPIK); Round 2, skills test and capacity assessment.

Only those who pass round 1 will be eligible to participate in round 2. Workers who pass both rounds are eligible to apply to work in Korea under the EPS Program.

This time, Korea plans to select about 3,300 Vietnamese workers to work under the EPS Program.

According to the Hai Duong Center for Employment Services and Vocational Education, the EPS Program opens up good job opportunities for Vietnamese workers, helping them have a stable income and access a professional working environment in Korea.

In recent years, Korea has been one of the countries attracting many Hai Duong workers to work. Through understanding, the current salary of Vietnamese workers working under the EPS Program ranges from 30 - 40 million VND/person/month, depending on the receiving enterprise and overtime hours.
