According to Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, out of more than 800 candidates taking the entrance exam for grade 10 at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted in the 2023-2024 school year, 234 students received bonus points.

These are the students who won prizes in the 9th grade excellent student exam for the 2022-2023 school year. There were 4 first prize winners, each receiving 3 points; 49 second prize winners, each receiving 2 points; 90 third prize winners, each receiving 1 point; 91 consolation prize winners, each receiving 0.5 points.

This bonus point only applies to candidates who register for the exam or are considered for specialized classes. Priority for candidates taking the exam for non-specialized classes is the same as the regulations for candidates taking the exam for grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools.

It is expected that candidates will know their exam scores on June 12.

Previously, on June 3, more than 800 candidates completed the specialized subject exam for grade 10 at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted to select 394 students. The school has 11 specialized classes with a total of 1,765 candidates registering, each class only admits 32 students. In particular, a non-specialized class has 520 candidates registering, while the school only admits 42 students. There will be hundreds of candidates who did not pass the entrance exam to Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted who wish to go to Hong Quang High School (Hai Duong City).
