17 Hai Duong delegates attend the 9th National Youth Union Congress

17 outstanding cadres, members and young people representing 379,600 young people of Hai Duong province will bring their voices, thoughts and aspirations to the congress.

Delegates attending the National Congress were elected at the 6th Congress of Delegates of the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union for the 2024-2029 term.

From December 16-18, the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union for the 2024-2029 term took place in Hanoi with the participation of 980 delegates representing more than 22 million youth union members at home and abroad.

Hai Duong has 17 delegates attending the congress, including Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union, term VI, Bui Hai Bang, and 16 officials, members, and outstanding young people representing 379,600 young people in the province.

These delegates were elected at the 6th Congress of the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union for the 2024-2029 term. There are 6 female delegates, the rest are male delegates. The youngest delegate is Mr. Bui Van Son (born in 2002), a student at Sao Do University.

The delegates will bring the voices, thoughts and aspirations of Hai Duong youth to the congress.

With the slogan "Vietnamese youth are patriotic - united - aspirational - creative - pioneering - confident in entering the new era", the Congress is an important political event, a festival of broad solidarity of patriotic Vietnamese youth, marking a new step of development of the organization and youth movement.

During the two days (December 17-18), delegates will participate in the Congress's agenda sessions. The focus will be on summarizing and evaluating the work of the association and the youth movement for the 2019-2024 term; developing goals, tasks, and solutions for the association and the youth movement for the 9th term (2024-2029); reporting on the amendment and supplementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Youth Union; and consulting on the election of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Central Inspection Committee for the 9th term.

Delegates were divided into 6 groups to discuss the following topics: patriotism; preserving and promoting national cultural identity; learning, creativity, and entrepreneurship; volunteering for the community; solidarity, integration, and development; and building a strong Vietnam Youth Union.
