Footballer Nguyen Tien Linh, from Cam Hoang commune, Cam Giang district (Hai Duong), is a promising young face of Vietnam.
On March 19, the Central Youth Union announced 10 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces and 8 Promising Young Vietnamese Faces in 2024. In which, player Nguyen Tien Linh is 1 of 8 Promising Young Vietnamese Faces in 2024.
Nguyen Tien Linh was born in 1997, from Cam Hoang commune (Cam Giang, Hai Duong). He is currently playing for Becamex Binh Duong Football Club and is a national player. Recently, Tien Linh has excelled over many candidates to win the 2024 Vietnam Golden Ball.
Mr. Phung Quang Trung, Head of the Skyline photo restoration group, working in Hai Duong, is one of the 10 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces of 2024 in the field of social activities, nominated by Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union earlier. From 2022 to present, Mr. Trung and his colleagues have restored thousands of martyr photos for free across the country to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs. In 2024, his group coordinated with Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union to organize two programs "Hai Duong - Day of Return" and "Thanh Mien - Day of Return" to present 250 restored martyr photos and gifts to relatives of martyrs' families. In addition, he also restored memorial photos of Nu village people. In December 2024, Mr. Trung won the National Volunteer Award. He was awarded a certificate of merit by Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union for his outstanding achievements in volunteer activities in Hai Duong province, along with many certificates of merit and medals from other units.

The Outstanding and Promising Young Vietnamese Faces Award aims to honor young individuals with outstanding achievements in areas such as study, scientific research, production labor, start-up business, national defense, security and order, sports, culture and arts, and social activities. The ceremony to honor Outstanding and Promising Young Vietnamese Faces in 2024 is scheduled to take place on the evening of March 23.
