10 most attractive new car models at Vietnam Motor Show 2024

The Vietnam Motor Show (VMS 2024) taking place from October 23-27 in Ho Chi Minh City is attracting a large number of visitors. Among the 200 car and motorbike models on display, the new hybrid and electric models are attracting the most attention.

Toyota Camry 2024: Price from 1.22 billion VND

Toyota Camry 2024 launched at VMS 2024 Exhibition belongs to the 9th generation. This sedan model is developed on the GA-K platform similar to the previous generation but has many changes in design.

In the Vietnamese market, the new generation Toyota Camry has 3 versions including 2 hybrid versions Camry 2.5 HEV MID and 2.5 HEV TOP, priced at 1.46 billion and 1.53 billion VND respectively; 1 gasoline version Camry 2.0 Q Gasoline priced at 1.22 billion VND.

The car uses a 2.5L gasoline engine combined with an electric motor, producing a total capacity of 302 horsepower and maximum torque of 423Nm.

In addition, Toyota Vietnam also brings the all-new electric concept car Toyota FT-3e.

Honda Civic e:HEV: Price from 999 million VND

The mid-life upgraded Honda Civic (facelift) version was also officially launched at VMS 2024, notably the hybrid version Civic e:HEV RS.

Overall, the Honda Civic e:HEV RS has minor design changes such as the hexagonal grille and refined air intake.

Honda Civic e:HEV uses a 2.0L gasoline engine combined with 2 electric motors, producing 200 horsepower and maximum torque of 315Nm. The price of this model is 999 million VND.

Skoda Enyaq iV: 500km range per charge

The Skoda Enyaq iV is the first all-electric SUV from the Skoda brand and is developed on Volkswagen's MEB platform. The car on display at VMS 2024 is the high-end RS version.

The Enyaq iV is powered by two electric motors, producing 295 horsepower and 460Nm of torque. The car uses an 82kWh battery for a range of more than 500km on a single charge.

In addition to the Skoda Enyaq iV, the Czech brand also launched a number of new models such as: Skoda Kushaq, Superb, Octavia vRS and the new generation Kodiaq.

New generation Mitsubishi Triton 2024: Price from 655-924 million VND.

Mitsubishi Vietnam is a brand that does not have a green car model at VMS 2024 but makes a big impression thanks to a series of hot car models with high sales.

Among them, the Mitsubishi Triton pickup is the company's newest model, just launched this September. It has a more angular, square and aggressive design.

Mitsubishi Triton uses a 2.4L diesel engine for a capacity of up to 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 470Nm. The car uses a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The car's selling price ranges from 655-924 million VND.

Suzuki XL7 Hybrid: Price from 599.9 million VND

At this year's VMS Exhibition, Suzuki Vietnam's latest model is the MPV XL7 Hybrid.

Similar to the Hybrid Ertiga, the XL7 Hybrid model uses a 1.5L engine, combined with an electric motor that produces 103 horsepower and a maximum torque of 138Nm, transmitting power through a 4-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The price of the XL7 Hybrid model starts at VND 599.9 million.

Isuzu D-Max 2024: Price from 650-880 million VND.

Isuzu D-Max 2024 is a mid-life upgrade version, first launched at the exhibition.

In terms of overall design, the Isuzu D-Max 2024 only has a few minor changes in appearance, located at the front of the car. Compared to the old version, the D-Max 2024 has a more luxurious interior.

The 2024 D-Max is still equipped with a 1.9L turbocharged diesel engine with 150 horsepower and 350Nm of maximum torque, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The model has 5 versions, with prices ranging from 650-880 million VND.

Subaru Crosstrek: Price 1,098 billion VND

Subaru Crosstrek is the "main character" in the Japanese brand's booth at VMS 2024 this year.

In terms of performance, the Subaru Crosstrek is equipped with a 2.0L gasoline engine, 154 horsepower and 196Nm maximum torque, combined with a continuously variable automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive.

The starting price of Subaru Crosstrek is 1.098 billion VND. Customers who buy a car at the exhibition will receive a discount of 99 million, only 999 million VND.

MG Cyberster: Price 3.2 billion VND, travel range 503km after each full charge

MG Cyberster is a 2-seat pure electric roadster. This is a limited edition with only 100 units for the Vietnamese market. At the VMS 2024 Exhibition, MG Vietnam officially announced the price of this electric car model at 3.2 billion VND.

This model is equipped with two electric motors, 536 horsepower and 725Nm torque, helping to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Thanks to the 77kWh battery, the Cyberster can reach a range of 503km per full charge.

BYD Han: Price 1,489 billion VND, travel range 521 km after each full charge.

BYD HAN is a high-end electric car in the E-class sedan segment.

The car is equipped with an electric-AWD 4-wheel drive system, 509 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, helping it accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The 85.44 kWh battery allows the car to travel up to 521 km per full charge.

In the Vietnamese market, BYD Han has a selling price of 1.489 billion VND, much cheaper than competitors in the E-class segment such as Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5-Series,...

YangWang U8: 1,197 horsepower, 360 degree rotation

YangWang is BYD's premium brand. Making its debut at VMS 2024 is the high-performance hybrid SUV - U8.

YangWang U8 has the ability to rotate 360 ​​degrees in place, wade and float on water.

The Chinese car uses a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine combined with 4 electric motors. The total capacity of the car reaches 1,197 horsepower and maximum torque of 1,280Nm, helping the car reach a maximum speed of 200km/h, accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 3.6 seconds. This is a display model of the YangWang brand, the official time to enter the Vietnamese market is unknown.
