Consider adjusting the project of the bridge over the Sat River and the approach road

DThe project of the bridge over the Sat River and the road from the bridge to the expanded Phuc Dien industrial park on provincial road 394B is estimated to have completed 70% of the volume.

On December 21, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and the People's Committees of Cam Giang and Binh Giang districts to consider the proposal of Trung Quy - Bac Ninh Investment Joint Stock Company on adjusting the implementation time and total investment of the project of the bridge over the Sat River and the road from the bridge to the expanded Phuc Dien industrial park on provincial road 394B.

According to Trung Quy - Bac Ninh Investment Joint Stock Company, the project is estimated to have completed about 70% of the work. For the bridge section, the company has completed the construction of piers, pillars, and produced beams, is installing beams, and is expected to close the bridge in January 2023. For the approach road section, the company has filled the roadbed with sand, reaching about 96%, and is treating weak soil...

According to the approved plan, this project will be implemented in 2021 - 2022 with a total investment of about 120 billion VND. However, in the past, due to the scarcity of construction materials, sharp increases in construction material prices, unusual weather and epidemics, the progress of the project has been greatly affected. The project has incurred a number of items. Therefore, the project cannot be completed in 2022. The investor has proposed that the province consider adjusting the project investment capital to 138.8 billion VND and extending the completion time to 2023.
