The second Rolls-Royce Dawn in Vietnam has a selling price of only nearly 13 billion VND, while the first one of the Saigon tycoon was sold for about 30 billion VND.

Ghost and Cullinan are the two Rolls-Royce models most favored by Vietnamese tycoons, with dozens of them, although the after-tax price is not cheap at over 30 billion VND. Some tycoons who are willing to spend more buy the Phantom model, which costs nearly 70 billion VND. However, the Rolls-Royce Dawn is the rarest car model in Vietnam, while the price is significantly cheaper.

To date, only two Rolls-Royce Dawns have been imported to Vietnam through private importers. The first one appeared in Hai Phong in July 2016, is currently owned by a Saigon tycoon and has a post-tax price of about 30 billion VND. The remaining one is being sold by a luxury car dealership in Hanoi for nearly 13 billion VND, because it has a diplomatic license plate.

The car is a 2017 model, with a dark blue exterior like the first one but without the coachline running along the body. In addition, to reduce the monotony of the luxury convertible, the previous owner of the car applied a white decal from the radiator grille frame, extending up the hood to the windshield frame.

This Rolls-Royce Dawn uses a set of 21-inch, 5-spoke V-shaped wheels with shiny chrome plating, adding to the luxury of the car. The first Dawn in Vietnam was also equipped with a similar set of wheels, but has been upgraded to a set of three-piece wheels with a sporty multi-spoke design from Forgiato.

The car has a soft fabric roof, using the “French seam” technique to create 6 different layers. Thanks to this method, the sound insulation is significantly improved. When the car is moving at a speed of less than 50 km/h, the roof can still be opened/closed by an electric motor in about 20 seconds.

Dawn still uses the reverse-opening doors like other models in the product line of the British luxury car manufacturer. Most of the details on this convertible super luxury car are completely new, so the manufacturer always directs customers that this is not a convertible version of the Rolls-Royce Wraith and is just a replacement for its "senior" Phantom convertible.

Rolls-Royce Dawn was launched on the global market in 2015 and has been discontinued since 2023. The British luxury car brand has no plans to launch a new replacement model, because Dawn's sales are not high when most customers choose to buy the more practical Cullinan or Ghost.

The interior of the second Dawn in Vietnam is covered with white leather, a black leather steering wheel and high-quality brown wood panels with natural grain. This color scheme is completely different from the first Dawn, which was covered with orange leather and wood panels with 45-degree diagonal grain. The car has 4 seats, with the second row of seats separated by a fixed armrest.

This super luxury convertible is equipped with a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 563 horsepower and a maximum torque of 780 Nm. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission, helping the Rolls-Royce Dawn accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
