Electric motorbike folds like a suitcase, priced from 3,200 USD

Startup Icoma has started taking orders for the Tatamel electric motorbike with a range of about 30 km and a maximum speed of 40 km/h.

All Icoma Tatamel components are made in Japan. Some are 3D printed, some are stainless steel, aluminum, and others are traditional materials.

The most special feature of Tatamel is that it can be folded to the size of a suitcase. Therefore, the car can be stored in a corner, such as under a table or in a drawer when not in use.

Another special feature is the side body panels, with a height of 350 mm and a width of 570 mm, which help customers personalize the car, with many different color and graphic options.

Icoma introduced Tatamel as a concept in October 2021. In January 2023, the company brought the product to introduce at the US Consumer Electronics Show (CES). And on May 15, the Japanese startup began taking pre-orders with an expected selling price of $3,200.
