While traveling on Highway 5, from Hai Phong to Hanoi, the tractor trailer suddenly lost control, crashed into the median strip, and overturned in the middle of the road.
At around 2:30 p.m. on December 23, Mr. NTL, born in 1990 in Van Lam district (Hung Yen), was driving a tractor-trailer 15C-193.89 pulling a trailer 15R-077.52 on National Highway 5, from Hai Phong to Hanoi. When reaching Tuan Viet commune (Kim Thanh), the tractor-trailer suddenly lost control and crashed into the median strip of National Highway 5, causing the vehicle to overturn in the middle of the road.
At the same time, the tractor 34H-033.38 pulling the trailer 34R-040.71 driven by Mr. TTD born in 1982 in Lai Vu commune (Kim Thanh) was turning from Hanoi - Hai Phong road to Hai Phong - Hanoi road and was also hit.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident, the tractor trailer 15C-193.89 was damaged.
Immediately after the accident, authorities were present at the scene to direct traffic and handle the accident. A rescue crane was mobilized to move the tractor-trailer. The accident caused National Highway 5 to be congested for about 2 hours.
