The adjustment of the general planning of the expanded Nam Sach town creates the basis and foundation for building the town into a type IV urban area.
On the morning of October 30, comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province chaired the October meeting of the Provincial People's Committee (4th time) to discuss and review the contents and submissions reported by a number of departments and branches.
At the meeting, the Department of Construction reported on the project to adjust the general planning of Nam Sach town to expand to 2035. The planning needs to be adjusted because it has been implemented for 7 years, and needs to be reviewed and evaluated to consider adjusting or establishing a new one to suit the socio-economic development situation.
According to the plan, the establishment of Nam Sach town is expected to be expanded on the basis of merging the current town with Nam Hong commune, which will greatly change the boundaries and area. Therefore, there needs to be some new planning orientations on space and land use.
The planning research area is 827.11 ha. The northern boundary borders Nam Trung and An Son communes; the southern boundary borders Hong Phong, Dong Lac and An Thuong communes (Hai Duong city); the eastern boundary borders An Lam and Dong Lac communes; the western boundary borders Hong Phong commune.
The expanded Nam Sach town is the core of Nam Sach district and is one of the five satellite towns supporting the development of Hai Duong city. The expanded Nam Sach town builds an urban area in the direction of a comprehensive service center. Through review, the expanded Nam Sach town currently achieves 73.9/100 points according to the criteria of a type IV urban area.
Concluding this content, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau basically agreed with the proposal of the Department of Construction on the plan to adjust the general planning of Nam Sach town. However, the Department of Construction needs to absorb and study the participating opinions to adjust in accordance with the actual situation and unify and coordinate with other plans.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested that departments and branches, depending on their assigned functions and tasks, be responsible for coordinating with the Department of Construction and the People's Committee of Nam Sach district to review the contents and information of the project. The adjustment plan must be suitable for the development space, effectively exploit competitive advantages, and soon turn Nam Sach town into a type IV urban area.
The October meeting of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee (4th time) also considered the promulgation of regulations on the price framework for social housing rental, the price framework for workers' accommodation rental in industrial parks and the price framework for apartment building management and operation services in the province; the policy of purchasing cars for agencies, organizations and units; proposed the policy of adjusting a number of component indicators in the Project to promote the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern Hai Duong Provincial Police force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation; proposed to submit to the Provincial People's Council to issue a Resolution stipulating a number of policies to support tourism development in the province in the period of 2025-2030; supplemented the plan to adjust the construction planning of Nam Sach district to 2030, with a vision to 2050.
