8 excellent teams have been determined to enter the Europa League quarter-finals

The eight best teams have officially entered the quarter-finals of this season's Europa League after the second leg of the round of 16 concluded.

They are Benfica, AC Milan, Marseille, West Ham United, Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen, AS Roma and Liverpool.

Among these, Liverpool is the most impressive team and is currently a strong candidate for the championship of the tournament considered the second-tier European club competition.

The remaining three Europa League quarter-final tickets belong to Bayer Leverkusen (Bundesliga, Germany), Benfica (Portugal) and Marseille (Ligue 1, France).

Bayer Leverkusen have qualified for the next round after an incredible comeback against Azerbaijan's Qarabag FK at home.

Qarabag FK caused a big surprise when they led Leverkusen 2-0 after 67 minutes thanks to goals from Abdellah Zoubir and Juninho.

However, Xabi Alonso's students fought back strongly in the rest of the match before creating a comeback by scoring consecutive goals.

Jeremie Frimpong started the comeback with a goal to reduce the score to 1-2 in the 72nd minute, before Patrik Schick scored twice in the 90+3 and 90+8 minutes to help the home team win 3-2 dramatically.

With this result, Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen continued to be unbeaten this season and won the right to continue with a total score of 5-4 after two matches.

Benfica won 1-0 against Rangers thanks to the only goal from Rafa Silva, to qualify with a final result of 3-2.

Marseille lost 1-3 away to Villarreal, but the defeat was not enough to stop them from progressing. The French side won 4-0 in the first leg and advanced 5-3 on aggregate.

In the Europa Conference League, the eight names in the quarter-finals include Aston Villa, Club Brugger, Lille, Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, Fiorentina, PAOK and Viktoria Plzen.
