The police investigation agency determined that the 20-month-old baby died of acute hemorrhagic shock, closed abdominal trauma, and ruptured mesenteric artery.

Regarding the case of a 20-month-old boy (in Can Dang commune, Chau Thanh district, An Giang province) who died unexpectedly at Minh Ngoc private kindergarten (address Vinh Thoi hamlet, Vinh Hanh commune, Chau Thanh district, An Giang province), on the afternoon of June 7, information from the Investigation Police Agency of Chau Thanh district police said that there were results from the forensic agency determining the cause of death of baby NHB.

The results of the forensic agency determined that NHB's head had subcutaneous hematoma in the forehead - parietal - temporal - left occipital area; a skull fracture in the left parietal area 12 cm long; a small amount of extradural hematoma in the left parietal area. Baby B.'s abdomen contained a lot of diluted blood mixed with blood clots; hematoma, complex rupture of the mesentery; superior mesenteric artery and inferior mesentery. The baby's stomach was collapsed, the stomach cavity contained a small amount of opaque white mucus. The forensic agency concluded that the cause of NHB's death was acute hemorrhagic shock due to closed abdominal trauma and rupture of the mesenteric artery.

At around 2:35 p.m. on May 25, the babysitter at Minh Ngoc Private Kindergarten discovered that baby B. was showing signs of unusual heat and fever, so she called the baby's mother, Ms. Nguyen Thi T., to pick up baby B. to take her to the doctor. At that time, Ms. T. was working at Binh Hoa Industrial Park (Chau Thanh District), so she called her biological father to pick up the baby.

At around 2:55 p.m., Ms. T.'s father came to Minh Ngoc Private Kindergarten to pick up his grandchild and discovered that baby B. had a high fever, so he quickly took her home. Baby B. was then taken by her mother to Chau Thanh District Hospital, An Giang Province for emergency treatment. After more than an hour of intensive emergency treatment at the District Hospital, at around 5:00 p.m. the same day, baby B. died at the hospital.

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Chau Thanh district, Minh Ngoc private kindergarten has not been granted an establishment license by the People's Committee of Vinh Hanh commune, Chau Thanh district.
