Electric car company VinFast offers free battery charging for customers at V-Green public stations nationwide from now until 2027.
The free battery charging program for more than two years is applied by VinFast to all users of the company's electric cars, including partners running transportation services.
Accordingly, the group of electric vehicle transportation companies (including Xanh SM) will be exempted from 100% of charging costs from 10pm to 6am. For the remaining time frames, this group will receive a 50% reduction in unit prices, from now until June 30, 2027.
VinFast representative said that the above time allocation aims to optimize charging station performance during off-peak hours, distribute the number of vehicles charging at the same time more evenly and reasonably, especially for groups using vehicles for transportation business.
For individual customers who buy a car with a battery, this policy helps them have zero fuel costs, while those who rent the battery will pay a monthly fee depending on their needs.
Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy General Director of VinFast Global Sales, said that under this policy, customers who buy cars first will benefit more. "This special incentive will help many customers switch to electric vehicles early, contributing to accelerating the process of reducing net emissions to zero," she said.
In addition, V-Green also promotes the franchise policy to expand the VinFast electric vehicle charging station system nationwide.
Currently, with more than 67,000 electric cars of all kinds delivered to the market in 11 months and a large number of orders waiting for delivery, VinFast is almost certain to be the best-selling car company in the Vietnamese market in 2024.
