Joining the Party as a student, now 'germinating and bearing fruit'

Outstanding young people

Ms. Ha Thi Hong Ngoc, born in 2005 in Ha Tien village, Thai Duong commune, Binh Giang district (Hai Duong), is one of the most outstanding students at Binh Giang High School who was admitted to the Party in the 2022-2023 school year. Currently, Ms. Ngoc is a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine, Hai Duong University of Medical Technology.

Born into a family where both her parents and brother were party members, she was oriented early on and had the desire to join the Party. When she was still in high school, Ngoc and her father joked with each other: "If Ngoc is admitted to the Party, she can call her parents comrade."

2 years ago, Ms. Ngoc joined the Party while she was still a student.

The honor comes not only to the students who are admitted to the Party but also to the school and the family. Mr. Ha Van Tu, Principal of Nhan Quyen Primary School (Binh Giang), Ngoc's father, is very proud when talking about his daughter's journey to join the Party. In his role as a father, teacher, and manager, Mr. Tu said: "In order for each student to realize the importance and honor of that honor, the role of teachers and the school is very important. In the family, each member is a Party member, those examples must be worthy for children to look up to and strive for."

Ngoc's brother just got married, his wife is also a party member, so now Ngoc's whole family are party members. Many days after coming home from studying the resolution online, Mr. Tu and his daughter call each other to talk about the resolution.

In July 2024, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Huong (born in 2005) was one of 20 excellent students of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted to be admitted to the Party.

The admission ceremony was more special when witnessed by Ms. Huong's grandmother, a 65-year Party member, along with her maternal grandmother, mother, and uncles.

"Although the journey is long and she is old, she was very happy to attend my Party admission ceremony. She said that seeing me grow up and join the Party, she was very proud because that was also the ideal that she had devoted her whole life to. For me, her presence at the ceremony made that moment more meaningful than ever," Ms. Huong shared.

Motivation to strive and practice

Having the Party is an honor and pride for the youth, but it is also a motivation and pressure for the "red seeds" to make more efforts.

Mr. Dang Hung Son, born in 2003 in La Van Cau area, Nam Sach town (Hai Duong), was admitted to the Party on June 25, 2021 while studying in grade 12 at Nam Sach High School.

Despite achieving excellent academic results at the Faculty of Foreign Economics, Foreign Trade University (Hanoi) and a list of many awards since high school, Mr. Son always felt he had to try harder.

At Foreign Trade University, Mr. Son participated in Student Party Cell 2, where there were many excellent students who were admitted to the Party in high school. Here, Mr. Son had the opportunity to meet, interact, and learn from friends who were all good people. From then on, he always felt that he needed to try much harder.

"Since becoming a Party member, I have realized that I need to be more careful in every word and action. Joining the Party is both a motivation for me to strive and a pressure for me to constantly strive to improve myself every day," Son shared.

Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Ha, born in 1999, in Trac Chau village, An Thuong commune (Hai Duong city) is one of the first students to be admitted to the Party in the province.

She passed the residency exam at Hanoi Medical University after graduating. Working in the residency party cell with many young party members from many different specialties, Ms. Ha had more opportunities to exchange and learn.

"Joining the Party as a student has brought me many benefits, opening up many opportunities throughout my time as a student until I became a resident doctor today," Ms. Ha shared.
