According to President Zelensky's press office, during a conversation with EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso, who is visiting Kiev, the Ukrainian leader stressed the importance of accelerating EBRD projects in Ukraine. According to Zelensky, EBRD investments in the private sector and development projects in Ukraine, especially in the housing segment, are a top priority for Kiev.

Mr. Zelensky also expressed his gratitude to the EBRD for supporting Ukraine and implementing important projects in the context of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Last year, the bank disbursed €1.7 billion (1.87 billion USD) to support Ukraine. In addition, the bank has mobilized €200 million (220 million USD) directly from partner financial institutions to support Ukraine.
