At the end of the final qualifying round, the 16 best teams qualifying for the 2025 AFC U17 Finals have been determined.
Accordingly, the 10 teams that won tickets to continue as group winners include North Korea (group A), Afghanistan (group B), South Korea (group C), Thailand (group D), Uzbekistan (group E), Japan (group F), Australia (group G), UAE (group H), Yemen (group I), Tajikistan (group J).
The five best second-place teams to advance are China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Oman and Iran.
Vietnam got a ticket to Saudi Arabia as one of the 5 best second-placed teams. Coach Cristiano Roland's team, after deducting points from the last-placed team, Kyrgyzstan, still had 4 points and a goal difference of +2. Vietnam ranked 2nd among the 5 best second-placed teams.
The 2025 AFC U17 Championship finals will take place in Saudi Arabia from April 3-20, 2025.
The draw will take place on January 23, 2025. The teams will be divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each.
The organizers will select the top two teams from each group to advance to the quarterfinals. Notably, the eight teams that advance from the group stage of this tournament will qualify for the 2025 U17 World Cup finals in Qatar at the end of next year.
