Messi reveals the truth about his desire to return to Barca

Leo Messi is enjoying himself with Inter Miami. After leaving the European limelight, the Argentine superstar now wants to take David Beckham's team to the next level.

Along with friends Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, Messi aspires to win MLS, as well as North America's biggest trophies.

Recently, in a conversation with the Youtube channel 'Simplemente Fútbol', Messi talked about his desire to return to Barca a few years ago and shared about his life.

“It's really special to have the right to say that I've won everything infootball. As I always say, I have been lucky to win everything at club and international level, with Barcelona and Argentina”, Messi confided.

“It's something I think I'll appreciate more and more as time goes on. So I'm always grateful for everything football has given me.”.

After Rijkaard, Pep Guardiola took Messi to new heights. He never forgot that.

“Guardiola comes from another world. He is different, he sees things that no one else sees. Pep changed football. Everyone wanted to copy us.”, Messi recalled.

He continued:“In fact, in some ways, it has harmed football, because everyone tries to play like our Barcelona. But we are a special team... that midfield, Xavi, Busi, Iniesta. It's all perfect between the players and the coach.”.
