Tu Ky district is building a tourist destination for the traditional embroidery craft village of Hung Dao commune. This is part of the project "Building and developing tourism in Tu Ky district in the period of 2021-2025".
In Hung Dao, there are many embroidery establishments that can be developed into tourist attractions and experiences for tourists.
To develop this tourist destination, the district has built a road to Xuan Neo craft village with a total cost of 7 billion VND to connect Road 391 to the craft village. The district's Department of Culture and Information has completed a survey, assessed the needs and built traditional embroidery spots for tourists to visit and experience. The People's Committee of Hung Dao commune has encouraged people to plant flowers and ornamental plants along the road leading to the commune and the beginning of Road 391 to the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway to create a beautiful environment.
Hung Dao commune still has about 200 embroiderers, including 11 artisans (1 People's Artisan, 3 Meritorious Artisans and 7 Craft Village Artisans). The embroidery profession in Hung Dao has existed for a long time with many unique traditional handicraft products, creating an attractive experience for tourists, especially foreign visitors.
