From Hanoi to Thai Binh with family, 5-year-old child died in traffic accident in Binh Giang

At around 7:20 a.m. on April 28, Mr. NVH, born in 1996 in Pham Kha commune (Thanh Mien), drove a truck 29C-450.72 on provincial road 392 from Thanh Mien to Thai Hoc (Binh Giang). When he reached gas station No. 64 in Nhan Quyen commune (Binh Giang), Mr. H. turned to fill up his gas tank and collided with a motorbike 59P1-880.61 driven by Ms. NTTP, born in 1990 in Thuy Chinh commune, Thai Thuy district (Thai Binh) carrying her child, V.D.T., born in 2019, going from Binh Giang to Thanh Mien.

As a result, T. died on the way to the emergency room, and P. was taken to the Binh Giang District Medical Center for emergency treatment. The preliminary cause was determined to be the car driver's fault, the car changed direction incorrectly, and the motorbike was on the correct side of the road.
It is known that Ms. P.'s family traveled from Hanoi to Thai Binh by motorbike, the husband carried one person, the wife carried one person. On the way back to her hometown, the wife's motorbike had an accident.

According to a report from the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee Office, from April 27-29, the provincial police force received and handled 9 traffic accidents that killed 3 people and injured 9 others.

Of which, Cam Giang, Thanh Ha, Hai Duong City, Ninh Giang, Gia Loc and Thanh Mien districts each had 1 traffic accident. Binh Giang district had 3 traffic accidents.

During the 3-day holiday, the provincial traffic police force detected and handled 538 cases of traffic safety violations, fined more than 1.58 billion VND, revoked 189 driving licenses, and detained 201 vehicles. Of these, 140 cases were alcohol violations, 150 cases were speeding violations, etc.
