This is the second consecutive year that the School of Business and Management has introduced this standard for candidates applying to all of its majors. In 2021 and 2022, this standard will only apply to the Management and Security majors.

Normally, only police and military schools set health standards, including height requirements for candidates. In addition, there are specific majors at some schools that require height to meet future career requirements, such as the Filming major of the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda or the National Defense and Security Education major of Hanoi Pedagogical University.

Explaining the height criterion in admission, a representative of the School of Management and Business said that the school's goal is to train excellent leaders, administrators and managers for both the public and private sectors.

“In the process of carrying out this mission, in addition to factors of academic qualifications and skills, physical fitness also plays an important role in building the professional and confident image of future leaders.”

However, the school representative affirmed that candidates with special talents will still be given special consideration to develop their talents and succeed based on their academic excellence and other skills.

In addition to the height standard, the School of Business and Administration also requires candidates to pass 3 rounds, including Preliminary Selection (Candidate profile assessment and EQ emotional intelligence assessment through interviews or videos sent by candidates) and Admission (including 6 admission methods).

In 2024, the school will enroll 4 majors with 500 targets, including: Business Administration and Technology (100 targets), Marketing and Communication (200 targets), Human Resources and Talent Management (100 targets), Administration and Security (100 targets).

The school's expected tuition fee for the next school year is 70 million VND for the majors of Network Administration and Security, Business Administration and Technology; 60 million VND for the majors of Marketing and Communications and Human Resources and Talent Management.
