In the 2022-2023 school year, Thanh Ha High School rose to third place in the 10th grade excellent student team, up 4 places compared to the 2021-2022 school year and for the second consecutive year held the second place in the 12th grade excellent student team. With this result, the school ranked first in the 10th and 12th grade excellent student team. In just the past 5 years, Thanh Ha High School has twice ranked first in the 10th and 12th grade excellent student team in the province.

To achieve this, the school has developed a specific plan for training excellent students, and disseminated it to professional groups and teachers. The goal of being in the top 5 of the province in terms of excellent student achievements is included in the Party cell resolution, with specific evaluation criteria for competition to strive for.

Mr. Le Xuan Nguyen, Vice Principal of the school, said that the school focuses on improving the quality of key education as a lever to improve the quality of mass education. To achieve this goal, teachers must first instill passion and enthusiasm in students.

Right from the beginning of the 10th grade school year, teachers have researched students who have participated in provincial, district, and school-level excellent student teams to initially select students with the appropriate qualities and abilities for each subject.

Professional groups and teams have built regular, periodic, and ad hoc test matrices. The school also regularly coordinates with Tu Ky and Kim Thanh High Schools to exchange expertise, organize tests, and survey students together. From there, timely solutions are found, screening and selecting students with capacity, and teachers also adjust appropriate teaching methods. In addition, the school mobilizes organizations, individuals, and parents to pay attention and encourage teachers and students.

Teachers assigned directly to the team are also constantly innovating and researching to improve the quality of key education. Biology teacher Pham Thi Hop said that she always strives to research and be creative in teaching. She regularly updates new knowledge and information related to the subject, especially closely following the exam structure of the Department of Education and Training, providing the best source of materials for students.

“The most important thing is to inspire students to learn, guide them in self-study and research methods, and at the same time provide timely encouragement and motivation,” teacher Hop shared.

Bui Thi Kim Oanh, 11th grade student at Thanh Ha High School, won second prize in the 10th grade biology competition at the provincial level for the 2022-2023 school year, said: "Not only imparting knowledge, teachers also suggest, guide, and create opportunities for us to develop our abilities."

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, the quality of education at Thanh Ha High School has made a strong change. The high school graduation rate in the past 3 years has always been 100%, the rate of students admitted to university is over 85%. The rate of excellent and fair students is about 90%. The rate of students with good and fair conduct is over 98%.

Mr. Do Duy Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, affirmed that in recent years, the quality of key education at Thanh Ha High School has improved a lot. That result is the crystallization of the determination, intelligence, love for the profession and responsibility of generations of teachers. This is the premise, creating the position and strength for Thanh Ha High School to develop even more strongly.
