On the morning of November 18, Thanh Dong University opened the 2023-2024 school year and celebrated the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
Attending and speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the school's achievements in the past school year, and sent congratulations to the staff and lecturers on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the school continue to promote its strengths and potentials, contributing to training high-quality human resources for Hai Duong province in particular and the country in general. In the 2022-2023 school year, despite many difficulties, Thanh Dong University remains stable and continues to develop. The school has made strong changes in all aspects from improving training quality, promoting scientific research and international cooperation, investing in modern facilities and expanding training majors, contributing to gradually building Thanh Dong University into an application-oriented training university on par with the region and the world.
On this occasion, Thanh Dong University decided to award scholarships to nearly 350 new students with degrees ranging from 50 - 100% of tuition fees such as: Dream Wings Scholarship, Social Policy Scholarship, Priority Training Scholarship. This activity aims to encourage and promote students with high academic achievements, gradually improving the quality of student output.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Thanh Dong University will enroll 2,500 students in 25 training majors.
