On the afternoon of December 15, Ho Chi Minh City Police prosecuted and issued a temporary detention order for Nguyen Tan Binh (41 years old, residing in Ward 6, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City) to clarify the act of illegally buying, selling, and storing hundreds of bullets of military weapons.
This is the result of the investigation and expansion of the project to destroy the illegal trading and storage of military weapons operating in the closed groups "Scrap of War" and "Scrap of War-BW" on cyberspace.
During the investigation, 10 working groups of Ho Chi Minh City Police simultaneously verified and arrested related subjects in 26 provinces and cities across the country.
To date, the city police have prosecuted 71 defendants on 10 charges related to weapons, drugs, counterfeit money, buying and selling bank accounts, using computer networks to appropriate property, kidnapping to appropriate property, etc.
Notably, in this case, there was a defendant prosecuted for 5 crimes at the same time, 4 grenades, nearly 100 guns, 9,000 bullets of various types, thousands of weapon components, support tools, primitive weapons and many other related exhibits were seized.
