Painting exhibition to celebrate August Revolution and National Day September 2

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung awarded the first prize and congratulated author Hoang Hiep.

On the morning of August 18, the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province to open an exhibition of large-scale propaganda posters with the theme: "Culture of behavior, ethics, lifestyle, Vietnamese people, practicing a civilized lifestyle, healthy cultural life"; exhibition of documentary photos, current events - art of Hai Duong province in 2023.

Chairman of Hai Duong Province Literature and Arts Association awarded certificate to author Nguyen Thanh Chung for his work of high artistic creativity.

The exhibition consists of 2 parts, displayed outdoors with 150 large-scale propaganda posters. The part displayed in the Exhibition House includes: Part 1 introduces a collection of historical and documentary photos with the theme "78 years of the Government" with about 100 photos. The photo collection introduces an overview of the process of establishment, construction, development of the organization and main activities of the Vietnamese Government through historical periods. The photo collection was collected and compiled by the Hai Duong Provincial Center for Culture and Arts from the sources of the National Museum of History, the Department of Grassroots Culture and the photo book "60 years of the Vietnamese Government" by the News Publishing House.

Part 2 displays a collection of current affairs photos of Hai Duong province, reflecting activities in the fields of politics, economics, culture, society, security and defense of the province in the second quarter of 2023.

Delegates visit and listen to explanations about photos from each period.

Part 3 displays 73 works of news and art photography, selected from nearly 300 works of professional and amateur photographers in the province participating in the 2023 Hai Duong Province News and Art Photography Competition organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

At the opening ceremony, the Department of Grassroots Culture awarded certificates of merit to the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts and two individuals with outstanding achievements in coordinating the organization of the exhibition of propaganda paintings...

The Organizing Committee of the Provincial Artistic News Photography Contest awarded the first prize to author Hoang Hiep (member of the Photography Board, Provincial Literature and Arts Association) with the work “Steel Roses on the Training Ground”; 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes. Author Nguyen Thanh Chung (Hai Duong Newspaper) was commended for his highly creative artistic ideas with the work “Gratitude to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Tu” in Duc Chinh Commune (Cam Giang).

This is an activity to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and National Day September 2. The organizing committee displays paintings at the Provincial Exhibition House and the Eastern Cultural Center Square.
