This afternoon, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang City, Tuyen Quang Province organized the traditional boat racing festival on Lo River in the spring of At Ty 2025, attracting a large number of people and tourists from all over to cheer.
Participating in the 2025 Lo River Boat Racing Festival in the spring of At Ty year are 15 communes and wards in the city with over 450 athletes. Each team must go through a race on the Lo River with a length of 2.5km.
The boat racing festival on the Lo River was organized to preserve the traditional rowing sport. After 18 years of formation and development, the boat racing festival on the Lo River every early spring has become a unique event, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, courage, martial spirit and the desire to conquer nature of the people of the Tuyen Quang river region.
After intense, fierce and exciting competitions under the enthusiastic cheers of a large audience, the Minh Xuan Ward racing team won first prize. Second prize went to the Thai Long Commune racing team and third prize went to the Doi Can Ward racing team. The remaining teams were awarded consolation prizes by the Organizing Committee.
