On the afternoon of July 24, at Thong Nhat Hall, preparations for the funeral and memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong were completed.

The area inside the Reunification Hall is placing a portrait of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong for people to visit tomorrow (July 25).
Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also noted that people should not bring wreaths, fruits, incense, candles; individuals should bring their ID cards (or personal papers), not bring handbags, and not bring wreaths.
On the evening of July 24, security forces outside the Reunification Hall were also ready to serve the State funeral.
