Tax authorities recommend that taxpayers absolutely do not download or install tax industry applications for computers or smartphones through unofficial links.
Tax authorities warn that there are some people impersonating tax officials, providing links and instructions for taxpayers to install fake software.
The General Department of Taxation has just released information about a phenomenon of some subjects impersonating tax officers, providing links and instructions for taxpayers to install software that impersonates tax agency applications to steal personal information and bank account information for the purpose of appropriating assets.
Therefore, the tax authority recommends that taxpayers absolutely do not download or install tax authority applications for computers/smartphones via links not provided by the General Department of Taxation. In addition, taxpayers must not allow any individual to directly access their computers or phones to assist in installing and using tax authority software.
The General Department of Taxation announces the official applications provided by the industry at the following addresses: Tax Declaration Support Application is provided at the industry's Electronic Information Portal (https://www.gdt.gov.vn); Electronic Tax Service Portal (https://thuedientu.gdt.gov.vn).
In addition, the email address and phone number to support taxpayers at the General Department of Taxation are nhomhttdt@gdt.gov.vn, phone 024.37689679, extension 2180 and the support group providing instructions on using the electronic invoice service at email nhomhotrohddt@gdt.gov.vn, phone 024.73055999.
