104 "young soldiers" participate in "Semester in the Army" phase 1

Students went to the 131st Engineering Brigade - Navy (An Duong district, Hai Phong city) to experience 7 days with the soldiers.

This session will include 104 children aged 10-15 from districts, towns and cities in the province. They will have 7 days of study and training at the 131st Engineering Brigade - Navy (An Duong district, Hai Phong city).

During the 7 days, the students were equipped with basic knowledge of national defense and security, fostering patriotism, national pride, and the fine traditions of the Vietnam People's Army and the Navy; helping them understand the military environment, practice discipline, independence, order, discipline, the will to overcome difficulties, and the demeanor of a soldier.

Parents advise their children to attend the course

This year's "Military Semester" has many new features such as students will be covered by insurance, have more experience, visit naval units and the Navy Museum, be equipped with teamwork skills, drowning prevention, and escape skills trained by military units.

This is the 12th year that the Provincial Youth Union has coordinated with military units to organize the "Semester in the Army" program during the summer for young people. It is expected that on July 10, the Provincial Youth Union will organize the second military departure ceremony for 100 students.

The children are temporarily away from their families for 7 days to study and experience in the military environment.
