Variety of forms

In mid-February, the Trade Promotion Center (now the Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center of Hai Duong province) coordinated with the Provincial Gemstone and Jewelry Association to organize a business delegation to promote trade and visit production and business models at a number of enterprises in the two provinces of Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh.

This is an opportunity for the members of the delegation to exchange and share experiences in production and business. As a result, the Hai Duong business delegation signed an agreement to bring some of Hai Duong’s OCOP products to the shelves of Xuan Khiem rest stop (Ninh Binh) – one of the largest rest stops in the North.

This is just one of many activities in the annual trade promotion program. In 2024, the Department of Industry and Trade supported businesses in the province to participate in 24 domestic and international trade fairs and exhibitions in key economic regions and areas across the country. Organized 4 trade promotion delegations to research and study typical production models in Hanoi, Hung Yen, Son La and Yen Bai.

At trade promotion events, many typical products and goods of Hai Duong are displayed, promoted and introduced. In addition to trade promotion programs organized in the traditional way, Hai Duong also promotes digital transformation in trade promotion activities.

Not only focusing on trade promotion in the domestic market, expanding the consumption market to other countries is also focused. In 2024, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated to organize a bridge to participate in 12 online conferences connecting with Vietnamese trade counselors and trade offices abroad. Coordinated with the Export Support Center (Trade Promotion Agency) to organize and participate in 6 trade sessions, 1 consulting program, providing information with foreign partners in the fields of agricultural products, processed foods, supporting industries, textiles, footwear.(both offline and online) in the US, China, Japan, Korea, Australia markets.

In recent years, businesses in the province have gradually promoted and introduced their products and services through their websites, e-commerce platforms or social networking sites, contributing to changing awareness and shopping habits in the online environment. This is considered one of the measures to expand the market and reach more customers across the country.

Through organizing and participating in fairs, exhibitions, and conferences connecting supply and demand in localities and key economic regions in the country and abroad, many Hai Duong enterprises have promoted their images, brands, and products to domestic and international markets. Enterprises in the province, when participating in trade promotion activities, have acquired new and advanced scientific and technological advances to apply in production and business, thereby improving their competitiveness in the market.

Trade promotion activities have helped many businesses, production facilities, and cooperatives access potential markets, expand distribution channels, and consume products and goods. Many products and specialties of Hai Duong are sold on the shelves of many supermarkets and convenience store chains across the country. Since then, many products with strengths, specialties, OCOP products, and key products of Hai Duong have been welcomed by consumers, while helping businesses, cooperatives, production facilities, and distribution units find stable sources of quality goods, meeting the diverse needs of consumers.

Le Van Thien production facility in Kim Lien commune (Kim Thanh) specializes in seaweed production. To facilitate consumption, the facility has proactively registered to participate in trade promotion programs organized by the Department of Industry and Trade, directly introducing and promoting products at many fairs and festivals. In addition, the owner of the facility also livestreams sales on the social network Tiktok. Thanks to promoting trade promotion activities, Le Van Thien production facility annually supplies 3-4 tons of seaweed to the market.

Viet Y Honey Joint Stock Company (Chi Linh) also actively participates in displaying goods and products at many festivals in and outside the province. Business leaders regularly research online trade fairs and conferences to register to participate. Currently, the company produces 15 types of products. In 2025, the company strives to produce 24,000 products, an increase of 20% compared to 2024.

In the coming time, the Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support of Hai Duong province will continue to innovate trade promotion activities, combining traditional and modern methods associated with the digital economy to diversify the market. Expanding domestic and foreign trade promotion

In the coming time, the Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support of Hai Duong province will continue to organize business delegations to promote trade in a number of provinces and cities and welcome business delegations to Hai Duong to learn about the market and partners in the Hai Duong market.

Along with the domestic market, the center will promote trade in some nearby foreign markets such as Thailand, China and Malaysia. Currently, the center is working step by step to have information about Hai Duong products and specialties published in Vietnam Airlines' Heritage publication to further spread information about Hai Duong products to domestic and foreign consumers.

In addition, the center focuses on promoting training and improving trade promotion capacity for businesses, especially trade promotion capacity on digital platforms and e-commerce. In addition to state support activities, businesses, cooperatives, units, and production and business establishments in the province need to proactively innovate models and methods of organizing production according to synchronous and modern chains; continue to cooperate and support development to improve the efficiency of production and business activities and increase product competitiveness in the market. Only then will each trade promotion become an opportunity to exchange, seek, sign trade contracts, and expand the market for products and goods.

We have the opportunity to introduce and promote our business products, and at the same time learn some experiences in the production process and business strategies of other businesses to be able to apply appropriately to our business. Trade promotion activities have helped businesses in the same industry find each other more easily, thereby expanding sales channels and consuming products for each other.
