On August 28, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that it will continue to open the first admission confirmation system until 5:00 p.m. on August 31, 2024, to facilitate candidates who have not completed admission confirmation for objective reasons.
According to the 2024 Enrollment Plan, candidates must confirm their enrollment on the General Enrollment Support System by 5:00 p.m. on August 27. However, according to feedback from training institutions and candidates, some candidates discovered that they had not confirmed their enrollment on the system when they enrolled directly at the school. Therefore, to facilitate candidates, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that it would continue to open the general system for candidates to complete the enrollment confirmation procedure.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training as of 5:00 p.m. on August 27, 2024, on the General Admission System, there were 551,479 candidates confirming their studies/673,586 candidates admitted, reaching 81.87%. Thus, there were 122,107 candidates admitted but did not enroll.
The Ministry of Education and Training notes that candidates who have been admitted but do not confirm their admission within the prescribed time limit and without a valid reason will be considered as refusing to enroll, and the training institution has the right to refuse to accept them. Candidates who have confirmed their admission at a training institution are not allowed to participate in the admission process elsewhere or in additional admission rounds, unless permitted by the training institution.
