Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 1014/CD-TTg regarding the fire in Tu Hiep commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi.
Telegrams sent to the Ministers of Public Security and Construction; Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee; Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities.
The dispatch stated that at about 5:40 p.m. on October 26, 2023, a fire broke out at a house in Tu Hiep commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi, causing particularly serious consequences, killing 3 people and injuring 1 person.
On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his condolences to the victims' relatives and families and gave the following instructions:
The Hanoi People's Committee directed the organization of visits, encouragement, and material and spiritual support for the victims' families; closely coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to direct functional forces to promptly overcome the consequences and investigate, determine the cause of the fire, and strictly handle violations (if any) according to the provisions of law.
The Ministries of Public Security, Construction and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities continue to enhance their responsibilities, resolutely, substantially and effectively implement the directions of the Secretariat, the National Assembly, the Government and the Prime Minister on fire prevention, fighting and rescue, focusing on Directive No. 47-CT/TW dated June 25, 2015 and Conclusion No. 02-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Secretariat, Resolution No. 99/2019/QH14 dated November 27, 2019 of the National Assembly, Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 3, 2023, Official Dispatches No. 796/CD-TTg dated September 13, 2023, No. 825/CD-TTg dated September 15, 2023 and No. 991/CD-TTg dated September 15, 2023. 22/10/2023 of the Prime Minister. Strengthen inspection and examination work, combine propaganda and guidance on urgent solutions to minimize the occurrence of fires and explosions and damage caused by fires and explosions, ensuring safety, property, health and life of the people.
The Government Office regularly monitors, urges and inspects ministries, agencies and localities to strictly implement the tasks assigned in this Official Dispatch.
