Rural people's income in Hai Duong increased more than 4 times after 10 years

In 2023, the average income of rural people will reach 52 million VND/year. This is the conclusion of the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee when assessing the implementation of Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas by 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Specifically, in the period 2014 - 2023, the value of agricultural production will grow by an average of 3.5% per year. In 2023, the rate of mechanization in rice production in the land preparation stage will reach 100%, the harvesting stage will reach over 95%, the planting stage will reach 15% of the area, the preservation and processing stage will reach about 40%, contributing to increasing the value of agricultural products. The average production value per hectare of crop and aquaculture will reach 198.6 million VND/ha, an increase of about 1.54 times compared to 2014.

Thus, after more than 10 years of implementing the Conclusion, the material and spiritual life of rural people has been significantly improved, the income of rural people is 4.36 times higher than in 2014, exceeding the target set by the Resolution. Many localities have good ways to mobilize resources to build infrastructure to serve production and life in rural areas. The appearance of rural areas has been renewed, more spacious and clean.
