Kim Thanh proposed to recognize Dong Cam and Kim Dinh communes as meeting new rural model standards.

Kim Thanh District (Hai Duong) has just held a vote to propose recognizing Kim Dinh and Dong Cam communes as meeting new rural model standards in 2024.

Kim Thanh district leaders voted to propose the Provincial People's Committee to recognize Dong Cam and Kim Dinh communes as meeting model new rural standards.

According to Kim Thanh district’s assessment, both Kim Dinh and Dong Cam communes have met and ensured the criteria for model new rural communes. The communes have no outstanding construction debt, and the average income per capita ranges from 80.9 to 83.23 million VND/year.

Dong Cam commune has all 3 schools with facilities and teaching equipment meeting national standards. 100% of the traffic routes in villages, hamlets, and communes meet the standards according to the requirements of advanced new rural criteria...

Currently, the multidimensional poverty rate of Kim Dinh commune is 0.66%, all 3 villages have achieved the title of cultural village. The commune has Duy Hoan traditional silk sausage product, which is an OCOP product promoted and introduced on e-commerce platforms. 100% of village cultural houses have installed free wifi...

99.99% of the people in the two communes surveyed were satisfied with the model new rural construction program in the locality.

Kim Thanh district currently has 14 communes and towns. 9 communes have met the advanced new rural standards: Lai Khe, Kim Xuyen, Kim Lien, Ngu Phuc, Kim Dinh, Kim Tan, Dong Cam, Dai Duc, Tam Ky. 3 communes have met the new rural standards: Hoa Binh, Tuan Viet, Vu Dung. Kim Anh commune has met the model new rural standards and Phu Thai town has met the civilized urban standards.
