Thanh Hong transforms and develops strongly

In 2022, for the first time, Thanh Hong grapefruit will be assigned an export code.

With the strength of agriculture, in 2022, the Party Committee and the commune government focused on directing people to increase production and care for lychee, guava and grapefruit growing areas. The commune currently has 6 lychee growing area codes for export to China. The great joy for Thanh Hong farmers is that in 2022, 15 hectares of GlobalGAP grapefruit in Lap Le village were granted export codes to Russia, Canada, Singapore... This is the first year that this growing area has been assigned an export code. In addition to the grapefruit growing area according to GlobalGAP standards, Thanh Hong commune also has 40 hectares grown according to VietGAP standards. Grapefruit growing areas in the VietGAP and GlobalGAP models are all trained in planting and care techniques according to standards; partial support for fertilizers, pesticides...

Thanh Hong Commune has increased promotion, trade promotion, and consumption of agricultural products. The value of agricultural production in 2022 reached 171 billion VND, exceeding the annual plan by 13.42%, up 21.1% compared to 2021. Average income per capita is more than 61 million VND/year, up 13.99% compared to 2021.

In order to improve living standards and traffic conditions in the locality, Thanh Hong commune has invested 8.6 billion VND to build 3.2 km of commune roads passing through 3 villages: Lap Le, Nhan Bau, Tien Kieu, the road surface has been widened from 3.5 m to 6-7 m, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023. The project has been long awaited by the people and they have agreed to donate land and expand the road. Attention has been paid to cultural, educational and health care work. Security and order have been maintained.

Achieving that result is not only due to the solidarity and consensus of the people but also the constant efforts and creativity of the leaders of Thanh Hong commune's Party Committee and government to build an increasingly prosperous homeland. Comrade Le Quy Su, Chairman of Thanh Hong commune's People's Committee, said: "Although I have just been transferred from Chairman of Thanh Cuong commune's People's Committee to Chairman of Thanh Hong commune's People's Committee, I have quickly grasped the situation, met the requirements of the job, and united to build the development of Thanh Hong homeland". With the experience of clearing the land for the Quang Thanh bridge approach road in Thanh Cuong commune in previous years, comrade Le Quy Su and the Party Committee and government of Thanh Hong commune directly mobilized people to donate land to build the commune's main road, creating a high consensus among the people.

In 2023, Thanh Hong commune strives for an average income per capita of over 66 million VND. The commune continues to promote the implementation of the national target program on new rural construction; mobilize maximum resources to deploy economic and technical infrastructure projects, and public investment projects in the period of 2021-2025.
