Thanh Ha organizes swimming competition for women for the first time

On the morning of August 14, at Tan Viet Commune swimming pool, Thanh Ha District Women's Union organized the 2024 Swimming Competition for Women Union members. This is the first time the District Women's Union has organized this competition to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The tournament had 43 athletes, divided into 2 age groups: 40 years old and under and 41 years old and over, competing individually at a distance of 30 m.

In the 40 years old and under category, athletes Nguyen Thi Nguyet won first prize and Nguyen Thi Hoa won second prize. Both athletes are from Thanh Xuan commune.

In the 41 years and older category, athlete Nguyen Thi Thiep from Tan Viet commune won first prize, while athletes Nguyen Thi Van from Thanh Quang commune and Nguyen Thi Ngoan from Thanh Cuong commune shared second prize.
