Thanh Ha District (Hai Duong) has trained tour guides to guide tourists to visit and eco-tourism lychee gardens.
On the afternoon of May 10, the Department of Culture and Information of Thanh Ha district coordinated with a number of specialized departments of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong to provide instructions on lychee season tourism to more than 20 collaborators who are teachers, commune cultural officers, and officers of a number of specialized departments of the district.
In addition to the skills of explaining and introducing tourist attractions, the training course emphasized explaining the formation and development of Thanh Ha lychee trees, promoting lychee specialties to each target group.
The project "Developing Huong River eco-tourism sites in Thanh Ha district for the period 2021-2025" is one of 6 projects in the action program to implement the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the term 2020-2025. To effectively implement the project, the locality is gradually exploiting and promoting existing resources to develop tourism. In early 2023, Thanh Ha district established a tourist guide collaboration team with 15 members. This year, the district has printed 10,000 leaflets introducing eco-tourism routes and sites, and visiting relics.
In 2023, Thanh Ha district welcomed about 40,000 visitors to visit and travel during the lychee season. Right from the beginning of the 2024 lychee season, the ancestral lychee tree in Thanh Son commune welcomed 5 groups of visitors from France and the US.
