Thanh Ha meets and encourages young people to join the army

On February 5, Thanh Ha district organized an exchange and meeting with young people who will join the army in 2025 with the theme "Proud of the soldier's uniform".

Comrade Tang Ba Bay, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, Chairman of the Military Service Council of Thanh Ha district, spoke and encouraged young people to join the army, promote the tradition of patriotism, actively train, perform well the assigned tasks, and contribute to protecting the Fatherland.

The district presented gifts worth VND500,000/person to young people who will join the army in 2025 and awarded certificates of merit to outstanding young people who volunteered to write applications to join the army.

At the program, young people enthusiastically exchanged and learned about knowledge related to the Law on Military Service, regimes and policies after completing military service.

Previously, the Thanh Ha District Military Command had provided all military equipment to young men preparing to join the army. The district requested communes and towns to continue to care for and encourage young men to be steadfast, confident and ready to go on duty.

In 2025, Thanh Ha district was assigned to select 235 citizens to join the army in 8 units, including: Regiment 95 (Corps 12), Regiment 285 (Air Defense - Air Force), Brigade 490 (Artillery), Economic - Defense Group 327 (Military Region 3), General Staff, Mausoleum Command, Provincial Military Command and Brigade 131 (Navy).

The district has issued conscription orders to 255 citizens, of which 235 are official citizens and 20 are on reserve. This year, Thanh Ha district has 24 citizens with university and college degrees conscripting. The entire district has 23 citizens volunteering to enlist.
