Hai Duong has 522 young people volunteering to join the army.

Up to now, Hai Duong has 5 localities that have completed the military service examination for young men of military age, namely Cam Giang, Binh Giang, Thanh Ha, Thanh Mien and Kim Thanh districts.

As a result, Thanh Mien district had 100% of the young people who were eligible for medical examination come for examination, Kim Thanh district reached 98.6%, Cam Giang district reached more than 97%, Thanh Ha district reached 94.6% and Binh Giang district reached 88.3%. Localities are conducting comprehensive examinations of young people who have not come for examination.

The rate of young people recruited for military service in 2025 with university and college degrees in Thanh Ha district is the highest in the province, reaching 12.2%.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Military Command, although the 2025 military service examination is the first year of implementation according to Circular 105/2023/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense on regulations on health standards and health examinations for subjects under the management of the Ministry of National Defense, the medical examination and recruitment work is still carried out strictly and in accordance with regulations. The locality proactively regulates the number of citizens coming for medical examinations appropriately, ensuring time and quality.
