Ban Gioc Waterfall in the top most beautiful natural borders

The list, published on February 10, is based on the assessment of travel experts as a suggestion of destinations that tourists should visit in the near future. The common point of these places is natural borders such as rivers, streams, mountains, and waterfalls with majestic and beautiful scenery.

SCMP added that Ban Gioc waterfall is located on the Quay Son River, which is a natural border between Vietnam and China. "Tourists approaching the waterfall on bamboo rafts can get wet because the water splashes very strongly."

Ban Gioc Waterfall (Vietnam's territory) is located in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province, nearly 30 km from the district center. The waterfall consists of many large and small waterfalls spanning hundreds of meters. A large amount of water flows continuously through the floors and steps like a horseshoe. Because of this majestic beauty, the waterfall is always the top destination chosen by tourists visiting Cao Bang Province.

In addition, SCMP also mentioned other natural borders such as Niagara Falls dividing the US and Canada, Victoria Falls dividing Zambia and Zimbabwe, the Guadiana River dividing Spain and Portugal, or the Andes Mountains being the natural border between Chile and Argentina.
