Temporarily stop picking up and dropping off passengers to and from Ban Gioc-Duc Thien waterfall scenic area

The Management Board of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province) has just announced the transportation of tourists between Ban Gioc Waterfall (Vietnam) and Detian (China).

The Management Board of the tourist area requests that travel agencies (Cao Bang Tourism Joint Stock Company, Global International Travel Group Joint Stock Company) notify tourists about the temporary suspension of transporting guests to and from the Ban Gioc Waterfall (Vietnam) - Duc Thien (China) landscape area from August 11, 2024 until further notice.

The reason given is that the incident occurred at the scenic area on your side. In case the visitor has registered and paid the fees, consider refunding or handling the visitor in a harmonious manner.

The Management Board of Ban Gioc Waterfall Tourist Area recommends that tourists temporarily not register for the tour route through Ban Gioc Waterfall (Vietnam) - Detian (China).

Activities to welcome domestic tourists to visit Ban Gioc waterfall tourist area are still taking place normally.

The activity of transporting tourists back and forth between Ban Gioc waterfall (Vietnam) and Detian (China) will be piloted from September 15, 2023.

After more than 10 months of piloting, there were nearly 950 groups with about 12,000 people entering and leaving for sightseeing and tourism.

Customs clearance procedures are handled flexibly, scientifically, civilly and in accordance with regulations by the immigration, customs and quarantine forces, creating favorable conditions for tourists from both sides to travel to the Scenic Area.

Tourist pick-up and drop-off activities are coordinated smoothly by travel agencies, complying with the laws of both sides.
