The accident occurred at 7:20 a.m. on March 12, on National Highway 5, in Tuan Viet Commune (Kim Thanh). After colliding with a container truck, the 56-year-old woman riding the motorbike died.
The victim was Ms. NTL, born in 1968 in Thuong Vu commune (Kim Thanh).
At that time, Ms. L. was riding a motorbike 34AA-084.22 on National Highway 5 in the direction of Hanoi - Hai Phong. When reaching km67+500, in Tuan Viet commune, she collided with a tractor trailer 15F-012.39 pulling a trailer 15RM-000.05 driven by Mr. N.D.T. born in 1984 in My Hao town (Hung Yen) going in the same direction.
As a result, Ms. L. was injured and taken to the emergency room and died at Kim Thanh District Medical Center.
The accident occurred in an area where a project to repair and upgrade National Highway 5 is under construction.
