Tran Tuan Minh is the youngest Vietnamese person in history to make it onto the Forbes Asia list.
On the morning of May 16, Forbes Magazine announced the list of “30 Under 30 Asia” in 2024, including 300 outstanding talents under 30 years old in many fields in Asia, honoring Tran Tuan Minh, a third-year student majoring in business administration at VinUni University.
Tuan Minh is also the youngest Vietnamese in history to enter Forbes Asia.
Tran Tuan Minh is the co-founder and Chairman of UpYouth, a non-profit organization focused on supporting student startups in Vietnam.
Founded in 2020, UpYouth organizes workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs with guest speakers from prestigious companies and startups such as VinGroup, Vietnam’s largest company by market capitalization, and Vietnamese startup Sky Mavis, the developer of the blockchain-based video game Axie Infinity. Approximately more than 30,000 students have benefited from these workshops.
UpYouth also runs an incubator and has helped 30 student startups raise a total of $3.5 million.
In addition to UpYouth, Tran Tuan Minh is the assistant to the global deputy CEO of VinFast, the automobile manufacturing unit of VinGroup.
