Grade III secondary school teachers are subject to the salary coefficient of type A1 civil servants, from salary coefficient 2.34 to 4.98 corresponding to the salary level of secondary school teachers.
Grade II secondary school teachers are subject to the salary coefficient of type A2 civil servants, group A2.2 has a salary coefficient of 4.00 to 6.38 corresponding to the salary level of senior secondary school teachers.
Grade I secondary school teachers are applied the salary coefficient of civil servants of type A2, group A2.1, from salary coefficient 4.4 to salary coefficient 6.78 corresponding to salary from 10,296 million to nearly 16 million VND/month.

Lecturers of type A1 civil servants are equivalent to grade III junior high school teachers and high school teachers with the highest salary of 11,653 million VND/month and the lowest of 5,475 million VND/month.
In addition to this salary, teachers and lecturers also receive 2 other benefits including: allowances, 10% bonus from total salary fund (depending on the case, the bonus can be higher or lower than 10%).
