Movie star Joe Lara and his wife died in a plane crash in Tennessee, USA on May 29.

Fans of actor Joe Lara were shocked to hear that he suddenly passed away in a plane crash on May 29 at the age of 58.

The plane carrying Joe Lara, his wife, pastor and church founder Gwen Shamblin Lara, and five others crashed into Percy Priest Lake in Tennessee, USA shortly after taking off at 11am on Saturday, May 29. Authorities have found the bodies of the victims on this flight.

Joe Lara rose to fame in 1996 when he starred in the TV series "Tarzan: The Epic Adventures." The series aired on American television from 1996 to 1997. The actor also appeared in the TV series "Gunsmoke: The Last Apache" in 1990 and in an episode of "Baywatch" in 1993.

Lara and his wife also starred in a YouTube video series called "Life with Gwen and Joe" which was quite popular with viewers.

The handsome actor and his wife Shamblin, a former nutritionist, got married in 2018. Shamblin founded the Remnant Fellowship church in 1999.

Since 2009, Lara has also been active in the music industry. He married Gwen Shamblin on August 18, 2018, but the couple has no children together. The "Tarzan: The Epic Adventures" star has a child with his ex-girlfriend Natasha Pavlovich.
