Steel output grew 5.5%

Steel production is one of the three industries with the largest proportion in the province's industrial production value, but its growth rate is lower than the average growth rate of the whole industry (the growth rate of the whole industry is 13.9%). The reason why the province's steel production industry has not achieved the expected growth rate is because the domestic real estate market is still sluggish, some public investment projects and infrastructure construction are slow to progress. Recently, the sudden increase in steel imports from China and India has put great pressure on steel production enterprises in the province.

In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will coordinate to support steel manufacturing enterprises in finding and expanding foreign markets through programs such as organizing trade connections with foreign partners and foreign distribution channels in Vietnam, providing information and supporting enterprises to participate in fairs and exhibitions abroad, providing market information by industry to support exports.
