The book "The whole country unites, seizes every opportunity, overcomes all difficulties and challenges, and is determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was launched.
On the afternoon of October 20, in Hanoi, the Central Theoretical Council, the Central Propaganda Department and the National Political Publishing House Truth jointly organized the launching ceremony of the book "The whole country is united, seizing every opportunity, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
The ceremony was chaired by: Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized that the book "The whole country unites, seizes every opportunity, overcomes every difficulty and challenge, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has a particularly great significance. It is a handbook with strategic orientations, practical instructions, and important suggestions for all levels, sectors, localities, forces, agencies, units, organizations, and each Party Committee, cadre, Party member, and people to thoroughly grasp, raise awareness, and be determined to act with a proactive, creative spirit, daring to think and dare to do, the whole country joins hands to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, creating a new position and strength for the country's rapid and sustainable development.
To widely disseminate the content of the "handbook", Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that, immediately after the book launch ceremony, the Central Propaganda Department presides over and coordinates with the National Political Publishing House Truth, press agencies, in many diverse, practical and appropriate forms, to focus on promoting and introducing the book's content to a large number of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and people of all walks of life. Thereby, helping readers better understand the value of this book in the process of continuing to promote the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress in the remaining half of the term as well as throughout the process of preparing documents for the 14th National Party Congress and Congresses at all levels in the coming term.
Party committees and organizations at all levels should promptly organize for cadres and party members to read, study, learn, and thoroughly grasp the book's content; incorporate it into the content of party cell activities; link it to the work of their localities and units, develop programs and projects, especially specific solutions in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress and Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels. Party committees and organizations at all levels, sectors, and localities should properly apply the spirit of the book, in accordance with the requirements for implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress and other Resolutions of the Central Conferences of the 13th National Congress term.
Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia said that with its profound and comprehensive theoretical and practical values, the book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong continues to make an important contribution to the process of perfecting the theoretical system on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam today; on the work of building and rectifying the Party and a truly clean and strong political system; on promoting the strength of the entire nation in building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam; and on the determination to build our country to be more and more dignified and beautiful as beloved Uncle Ho always expected.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia also suggested that it is necessary to soon introduce the content of the book into the activities of each Party cell, helping cadres, Party members and people to have a deeper understanding of the important thoughts, viewpoints and orientations in the leadership and direction of the Party, headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in all fields, economic regions and localities. Media and press agencies should proactively promote the content of the book in both traditional paper and electronic versions, contributing to quickly spreading the value and core content of the book to the masses...
Deputy Director, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth Pham Thi Thinh, said that with a capacity of more than 500 pages, the book selects 40 typical articles and speeches of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the first half of the term of the 13th National Party Congress, which have both theoretical and practical value. The articles, speeches and directives of the General Secretary express important thoughts, viewpoints and orientations in the strategic and comprehensive leadership and direction of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by the General Secretary, to deploy and organize the implementation of political tasks of the country in general as well as of the fields, regions and localities in particular; showing the sense of responsibility, strategic thinking, and very comprehensive and profound, yet very specific and practical guiding thoughts of the leader of our Party.
In the first half of the 13th National Party Congress, the international and domestic situation has been extremely complicated and unpredictable, even more complicated than predicted. Therefore, the results our country has achieved are very important and of great significance, affirming the superior nature of the socialist regime and the correct leadership of the Party, headed by the General Secretary. However, in his articles and speeches, the General Secretary also sternly pointed out a number of limitations and shortcomings that need to be resolutely overcome, a number of difficulties and challenges that need to be overcome, and a number of opportunities that must be quickly seized to successfully complete the country's development goals by 2030 and 2045 as set out by the 13th National Party Congress.
