Launching of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book on military and national defense

Delegates read the book "Some issues on military guidelines and defense strategies in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new period"

On the afternoon of July 18, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and the National Political Publishing House Truth jointly organized a ceremony to introduce the book "Some issues on military guidelines and defense strategies in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new period" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Secretary of the Central Military Commission.

Comrades: Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Le Minh Hung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office attended the ceremony.

Leaders present books to representatives of central departments, ministries and branches

The book includes 39 articles, speeches, and interviews by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, expressing the consistent and thorough thoughts of the head of our Party on the viewpoints, goals, directions, and solutions to carry out the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new period.

The book consists of three parts.

Part 1: Building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Vietnam People's Army in the new era. Part 2: Building elite, compact, and strong military forces, advancing toward modernity, meeting mission requirements in all situations. Part 3 is the article "General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Secretary of the Central Military Commission - a person with dialectical thinking and strategic vision in building military guidelines, defense strategies, and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland" by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Minister of National Defense.

The exhibition area introduces the book "Some issues on military guidelines and defense strategies in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new period" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Secretary of the Central Military Commission.

At the launching ceremony, delegates discussed, analyzed, and focused on clarifying the content, great values, meanings, and importance of the book. Party leaders presented books to representatives of central ministries, departments, and agencies and units in the army.

Along with publishing 2,000 paper copies, the book "Some issues on military guidelines and national defense strategies in the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new period" was simultaneously released by the Truth National Political Publishing House in an electronic version, serving readers for free on the website: www.stbook.vn and the STbook application.
