Resolution of the 17th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term sets the goal of admitting 2,200 or more party members each year.
Resolution of the 5th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee on strengthening and building grassroots party organizations and improving the quality of party members in the new period (Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022) sets the target of the annual rate of new party members in the 2020-2025 and 2025-2030 periods reaching 3-4% of the total number of party members.
The Resolution of the 17th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term sets the target of admitting 2,200 or more party members each year. By the end of 2021, the Provincial Party Committee will have over 108,000 party members. If we strive to admit 3-4% of the total number of party members each year according to Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW, the entire province will need to admit from 3,200 to 4,300 party members each year, an increase of at least 1,000 party members compared to the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.
Over the past years, the recruitment of new party members in the province has encountered many difficulties. Many party committees at all levels have failed to achieve their goals. During the 2015-2020 term, the provincial Party Committee also failed to meet its target of recruiting 2,500 or more party members each year.
The target of admitting party members according to Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW is a new requirement for the Provincial Party Committee to strive to successfully implement. Therefore, Party committees at all levels in the province need to promptly grasp, concretize, and organize the implementation of the target of admitting party members according to this resolution; must have high determination, drastic actions, great efforts, and creative and effective ways of doing things to achieve the target in the context that this work has not been performed well in recent years.
