On April 6, in Dong Quang commune, Gia Loc District Farmers' Association disbursed 400 million VND from the provincial Farmers' Support Fund to 14 farming households with aquaculture models in this commune.
Farmers of Dong Quang commune receive loans from the Farmer Support Fund
12 households borrowed 30 million VND/household and 2 households borrowed 20 million VND/household. Households were able to borrow for 24 months with an interest rate of 0.7%/month.
In March 2021, the District Farmers' Association disbursed VND 1 billion to 42 households in Gia Loc town, Thong Nhat and Hoang Dieu communes. Up to now, the District, Provincial and Central Farmers' Support Funds are lending to 214 farming households in Gia Loc with a total outstanding debt of nearly VND 5.8 billion.
