The 2025 Tu Ky District (Hai Duong) ethnic wrestling tournament attracted 29 wrestlers from communes and towns in the district to participate.
On February 2 (the 5th day of Tet), Tu Ky District People's Committee organized the 2025 National Wrestling Championship.
This year's tournament has 29 wrestlers from An Thanh, Minh Duc, Nguyen Giap, Van To, Chi Minh, Hung Dao communes and Tu Ky town. The wrestlers compete in 5 weight categories: under 50 kg, 50-55 kg, 55-60 kg, 60-65 kg and over 65 kg.
After a day of exciting competition, An Thanh commune won first place overall; Tu Ky town came in second and Nguyen Giap commune won third place. The organizing committee also awarded additional branch prizes and prizes to wrestlers participating in the wrestling match.
The Tu Ky district ethnic wrestling tournament is held annually to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere at the beginning of the new year; at the same time, it contributes to preserving the traditional sport typical of the land of crabs.
